This ends as a dehydrated food. I love the art of creation and I may not realize what all goes into making stuff.... it is all so easy for me...basic food sources used.... lots of time on my hands :) I see it as learning more foods to deliver through a Drive Thru window....Project Drive Thru Folks, It is up to us to create it. Spread the Word. more info. www.eatingforhealthstore.com
To the pie mixture that was left over...don't think measurements of what you have, just add the following.
1 batch of pumpkin pie crust. Yep make it again :)
2 oz Goji Berries..........in vm container add 1 c water and process on High for 90 seconds...breaks down all the seeds...releasing their nutrients :) add to mixture. You add everything to the mixture and wait to stir.
I hope you are using a large large bowl like me. My husband found at Costco a set of extra large deep stainless steel bowls; I love them.
In vm container add 1 cup pecans and process vs#2 then set aside in a ziploc.
In vm container add 1 cup granola 1/4 cup cinnamon process to flour add to pecans
In vm container add 1 cup coconut flakes process to fine and add to pecans and zip the ziploc and shake. Add to mixture. Don't stir mixture yet.
Soak 2 cups whole dates and process vs# 5 add to mixture
1/2 pineapple core included vm vs# 7
1/2 cantaloupe use 1/2 the seeds with a few chunks of the fruit and process on High for 90 seconds) add remaining fruit and process vm vs# 2
1 cup Protein grain flour (see post below)
5 carrots vm # 8 use 1/4 cup water for liq.
4 oranges - peel off 4 wide slices of peel... slice on right on front on left on back..
leaves some intense orange flavor but not enough to take over. When eating dehydrated foods, you can taste flavors come alive. Process vs# 7
In a vm container add 1 cup hot water and add to it:
1 cup raw honey
1/8 cup royal jelly
1 cup molasses and process vs# 1-5 to blend. add more hot water if needed.
Now to mix...cut ingredients into each other to blend. Trust me, It is easier.
Have dehydrator set on High and start spreading 4 cup mixture per sheet. I'm using a 9 tray dehydrator...can't see it working in a round one.
Turn down temp on dehydrator to 125...remember dehydrator temp is air moisture cooled to a 20* drop in temp. Keeping the food as life force.
I dehydrated it over night and them some during the day...when it is able to be lifted or peeled from sheet, then it is ready for the first step.
If you are interested in the rest please let me know. and I will continue to post.
I see how this could be a bit much. I am happy to share, so let me know.
